TEXL O365 Calendar Integration

The TEXL O365 Calendar Integration connects to your Microsoft 365 (Office 365) environment and displays live room calendar, booking, and availability information on room displays and related interfaces. It also lets users book, extend, and release rooms directly from a display. The Service runs within your own environment — your data stays with you, and TEXL does not host or have access to it. It is published by TEXL Development FZ-LLC.

Live room availability

Reads room and resource calendars from your Microsoft 365 tenant and displays current and upcoming bookings in real time.

Secure, consent-based access

Connects only through Microsoft-approved APIs (Microsoft Graph) using OAuth 2.0, with access granted by your administrator or a designated service account, and revocable at any time.

Least-privilege by design

Requests only the room-calendar permissions required to display and manage room bookings — no access to personal mailboxes, messages, or files.

Built for room displays

Renders clear booking and availability details on room displays and related interfaces across your workplace.

Runs in your environment

Deployed on infrastructure you own and control. Your calendar and booking data stays within your environment — TEXL does not host, receive, or have access to it.

How it works
  1. An administrator of your Microsoft 365 tenant authorizes the integration and consents to the requested permissions, or a designated service account signs in to the integration.
  2. The integration, running on your own server, reads room and resource calendar data through Microsoft Graph and can book, extend, or release rooms when users interact with a display.
  3. Booking and availability information is displayed on your room displays. Your data remains within your environment, and access can be revoked at any time from the Microsoft Entra admin center.
