Our Team
Zane Bastian
Founder & CEO
With over 15 years of experience as a professional AV system integrator, Zane Bastian is a highly skilled AV designer, programmer and project manager. His journey spans complex roles as an AV automation programmer, mastering platforms such as AMX, Crestron, and Extron, and showcasing deep expertise in both audio and video system design. His portfolio includes the successful management and programming of more than 250 systems across the Middle East, from iconic skyscraper hotels and cutting-edge hospitals to major universities, defense war rooms, and advanced training facilities.
In 2022, driven by a passion for both AV and his hobby of game development, Zane founded TEXL to merge his extensive AV knowledge with real-time rendering technologies like VR & AR. Today he leads TEXL's work in applied AI—from AIVA, the company's conversational AI avatar, to computer vision—bringing intelligent software into the physical spaces he spent his career building.
